Role overview
As a ServiceNow ITSM Lead Consultant, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of ServiceNow ITSM solutions. You will play a key role in shaping technical solutions, ensuring development quality, and applying best practices across the platform.
This role requires strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience, a solid understanding of ITSM processes, and the ability to validate and improve solutions using structured testing and automation.
Key responsibilities
Solution design
- Design functional and technical solutions for new features and platform enhancements
Development & configuration
- Develop and configure ServiceNow applications, workflows, and platform components
- Lead implementation, enhancement, and support activities
Development validation & quality
- Ensure fixes, updates, and new features meet defined functional and technical requirements
- Apply best practices for development, testing, and release management
Issue management
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues during development and testing phases
Testing & automation
- Use ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to create and execute automated tests
- Support continuous improvement through structured validation and testing processes
Required skills and experience
ServiceNow expertise
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow, with a heavy focus on IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Some exposure to IT Operations Management (ITOM) is a plus
Development & QA practices
- Experience with test management, defect tracking, development validation, and test automation
Testing tools
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ATF
- Experience with other automation tools such as Selenium is an advantage
Analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and recommend improvements
Profile requirements
- 6–8 years of relevant ServiceNow experience
- Background in implementation, development, and support roles
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
