Description

Danish-Speaking Customer Support Specialist – Lisbon, Portugal

Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Contract: 12 months
Start Date: Ongoing
Salary:

  • €1,358 gross/month + free accommodation (private room in a shared company apartment)
  • Or €1,620 gross/month if you arrange your own housing

Role Overview

Join our Lisbon-based team as a Danish-speaking Customer Support Specialist. You’ll play a key role in guiding customers through their order journey—from delivery management and payment issues to returns and refunds. This position combines customer service, administrative support, and problem-solving in a fast-paced, international environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support customers with order-related inquiries via phone, email, and chat
  • Manage deliveries, returns, payment issues, refunds, and order updates
  • Handle sensitive information in compliance with PCI and GDPR regulations
  • Liaise with couriers, financial institutions, and internal departments
  • Identify, assess, and escalate complex issues as needed
  • Maintain high service quality standards and meet individual/team KPIs
  • Follow project guidelines and leverage internal knowledge base for solutions

Requirements

  • Fluent in Danish
  • Proficient in English (C1 level) – written and spoken
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and willing to work rotating shifts (including weekends and holidays)
  • Previous experience in back-office, SAP, or order management is a plus

Working Hours

  • 40 hours/week (8-hour shifts + 1-hour lunch break)
  • Rotating shifts between 07:00–24:00, Monday to Sunday
  • Overtime may be required depending on workload

Contract Benefits

  • 20–22 days of paid vacation/year (depending on contract start)

Accommodation Option

  • Free private room in a company-rented apartment (shared with other employees)
  • Fully furnished, with utilities, internet, and linens included
  • Available only for international hires living more than 100km from Lisbon
  • No pets allowed

Remote Work

  • Work-from-home setup available
  • All necessary equipment provided (PC, screen, keyboard, mouse)
  • Occasional on-site presence may be required at Lisbon hubs based on project needs
