Yoruba Speaking Content Reviewer – Office based

Gross salary per month is €1040 + free accommodation for the whole 12 month contract (own room in a shared house/apartment). Alternatively if no accommodation is required gross salary can be €1295 per month instead.

Our client is recruiting Yoruba speakers for content review roles.

Candidates must already have work permission for Portugal ie EU passport OR Portuguese residence card.

Research Analyst – Yoruba-speaking Regions

As a Research Analyst focusing on Yoruba-speaking regions, your role centers on researching international and geopolitical events, analyzing potential risks, and ensuring the trustworthiness of the platforms. You will synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights, with an emphasis on identifying trends that may affect online safety and platform integrity. This position involves regular collaboration with cross-functional teams to align research efforts with evolving business priorities.

While primarily focused on the Yoruba-speaking market, you will occasionally support other markets and workflows, including the English market, adapting to shifting business needs. As part of this role, you'll also use a Translation Tool to support content moderation and workflow demands across languages when necessary.

Daily Job Duties and Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Research on International and Geopolitical Events: Conduct in-depth research on global events impacting Yoruba-speaking regions, focusing on topics relevant to platform safety and integrity.
• Data Synthesis and Insight Generation: Transform complex, multi-source information into concise, actionable insights to aid strategic decision-making.
• Trend Analysis for Platform Risk: Identify and assess emerging trends that could present risks to the platforms, particularly in relation to inappropriate or explicit content.
• Content Moderation: Review and moderate internet content to ensure compliance with platform policies, addressing sensitive or explicit material appropriately.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of research methods, findings, and conclusions, generating detailed reports for internal review.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with various teams to prioritize research based on business objectives, ensuring alignment and effectiveness.
• Strategic Threat Assessment: Evaluate potential threats and risks to the platform trust, using analytical insights to inform strategic initiatives.
• Workflow Flexibility: Adapt to support other products, markets, or workflows as needed, including the English market, utilizing the Translation Tool to meet dynamic business needs.
