Japanese Speaking Quality Assurance Analyst - Office based in Lisbon

Lisbon, Portugal

€1600-1700 gross per month

This role is office based in Oeiras, Lisbon.

Candidates must already live in Portugal already and have either an EU passport OR Portuguese Residence Card.

Job Overview

Our project currently seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. The primary goal of this position is to serve as a Quality Analyst for quality guidelines, ensuring the highest standards are met across various content types. This role involves evaluating and rating content including audio, video, text, and photos, providing thorough written explanations to support each rating and enhance overall rater quality.

Daily Duties

  • Carrying out quality assurance tasks:
    • Evaluate and rate various content types, including audio, video, text, and photos.
    • Provide ratings with written rationales for individual judgments and decisions, adhering to the provided task guidelines.
  • Participate in calibration sessions with the team and stakeholders:
    • Follow instructions from the team lead to ensure consistent quality standards.
  • Conduct peer audits:
    • Assist in training and provide feedback to team members as part of the process model.
  • Collaborate with team members:
    • Share best practices and contribute to a continuous improvement culture.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously:
    • Work independently with minimal guidance or assistance from senior or peer team members.
  • Assist in the interview process:
    • Support the team lead/manager in hiring future team members.
  • Ensure adherence to KPIs:
    • Maintain all KPI-related tasks to avoid business impact.
  • Handle multiple customer projects concurrently:
    • Meet customer requirements while working on several projects at once.

Skills Required

  • Language Proficiency:
    • English C1 level proficiency and native level Japanese.
  • Education:
    • University degree preferred.
  • Work Schedule:
    • Willingness to work flexible shift timings.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Comfortable with G Suite, especially Google Sheets.
  • Attention to Detail:
    • Highly detail-oriented, rigorous, and analytical.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and writing skills with the ability to present reasoning in a clear, concise, and logical manner.
  • Logical Reasoning:
    • Strong sense of logical reasoning and decision-making abilities.
